RIBA 2013 Winners announced

The RIBA awards have been running continuously since 1966, they are renowned for setting the standard for great architecture covering all types of projects.  The 2013 RIBA award winners have been  announced. 

AIS provided Building Control Regulation Approvals for 2 winning projects:

Soar Works, Yorkshire  - awarded RIBA Yorkshire Sustainability Award and RIBA Yorkshire Building of the Year.   Architecture 00 Ltd  has provided a striking building that maximises natural light and passive solar gain.  Through its appropriate use of sustainable technologies; biomass boiler and solar panels it has achieved BREEAM excellent.

Lauriston School, Hackney, London  - Meadow Griffin Architects created a flexible working environment, doubled size of the school on the same size site whilst keeping the school operational throughout.
