The development known as London Bridge Place is a new 18 storey office development adjacent to London Bridge Station on the opposite side of the bus terminal from the new Shard development.
The new building requires the demolition of the existing 26 storey tower and also the low level office, the development includes a new basement retail mall that opens up into the LU concourse providing an alternative access to the station. The development also includes new equipment rooms and back of house areas for the relocation of station plant and equipment and the realignment of escape stairs into the footprint of the new office development.
AIS are providing compliance engineering support and assurance approvals for the LU interface works on this major development project covering a range of engineering disciplines,  supporting the project through the LU design assurance process and construction phases.
